A LOOK BACK AT

AN UNFORGETTABLE 2024 SEASON

A LOOK BACK AT AN UNFORGETTABLE 2024 SEASON

As the Gouffre de Padirac closed its doors for the winter on 3 November, it's time to look back on a memorable 2024 season.
The Gouffre de Padirac welcomed more than 537,000 visitors, a new visitor record that confirms its status as France's leading natural site and reinforces its reputation on a European scale.

This year, the site pushed back the limits of adventure with exclusive events for fans of exploration and unusual experiences.

A LOOK BACK AT THIS SEASON'S EXCEPTIONAL ADVENTURES

A resounding success for "Voyage au centre de la Terre, à la recherche d’Axel Lidenbrock" of Crumble Production (an original creation for the Gouffre de Padirac) on 10 and 11 May 2024: 300 spectators took part in an unprecedented theatrical adventure, plunging into the captivating world of Jules Verne. Performed by some fifteen talented actors, this immersive experience transported them through the underground galleries of the Gouffre de Padirac to the time of its inauguration in 1890.
Due to this success and popular demand, 2 exceptional dates will be rescheduled for May 2025!

As in previous years, the Explorers' Evenings captured the attention of the curious, thanks to the special experience on offer: exploring the Gouffre by lantern light, at dusk... For 2025, a few surprises will enhance the experience...

The Storytelling Hours were a delight during the All Saints' Day holidays, when our guide-boaters transformed themselves into Belle Epoque storytellers to bring the most beautiful legends of the Gouffre to life for families. It was an immersive, interactive experience that amazed young and old alike!

IN 2025, IT'S ALL ABOUT IMMERSION!

The teams are already preparing for the reopening of the site, which will take place on Saturday 29 March 2025..

The immersive events and activities will be continued to offer even more incredible discoveries of the Gouffre de Padirac!
