TOUR DE FRANCE ON THURSDAY JULY 11:

TRAFFIC DISRUPTION

On Thursday, July 11, the 12th stage of the Tour de France will set off from Aurillac to Villeneuve-sur-Lot, taking in much of the Dordogne Valley, including the towns of Saint-Céré, Autoire, Padirac, Alvignac and Rocamadour.

The race will therefore pass in the immediate vicinity of the Gouffre de Padirac, and will have a major impact on access to the site for visitors coming from the south between 10am and 2.30pm (estimated times based on information provided and available).

Roads will be closed 2 hours before the Tour de France caravan.

The race will therefore prevent travel from the south of the Lot via the communal and departmental roads.
To reach the Gouffre de Padirac from the south, we recommend the following itinerary:
A20 freeway: exit Souillac> Martel > Gluges > Miers.
